Antelope Canyon

Antelope Canyon is the most visited canyon slot in the southwestern United States. It is located on the Navajo land near Page, Arizona.

Antelope Canyon consists of two separate formations, called Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon. The two sections are separated by road 98. The rift that generated the two canyons, on its way to Lake Powell, is first to find a barrier consisting of a sandstone formation placed transversely to its path.

Here it produces the Upper Antelope Canyon (Upper Antelope Canyon) which is only two hundred and seventy meters long, easier and easier. Continuing the approach towards the lake, after about five kilometers towards the north, the erosion penetrates the ground generating the longest and least easy lower Antelope Canyon (Lower Antelope Canyon) over four kilometers long.
