In the rooms of the noble floor of Pepoli Campogrande Palace, part of the Zambeccari picture gallery is currently exhibited, the ancient collection of paintings that the Zambeccari, an important Bolognese senatorial family, had collected during the eighteenth century.
There are different types of subjects present in the picture gallery (ranging from portraits to paintings of religious and mythological subjects, from historical scenes to hunts, from still lifes to genre scenes), as well as various pictorial schools represented.
