Van Gogh Museum


The Van Gogh Museum is a museum located in Amsterdam and which has the largest collection of works by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh.

The museum is actively involved in contributing to the conservation, restoration and acquisition of the artist's works.

The Van Gogh Museum consists of two interconnected buildings: the main building, designed by Gerrit Rietveld and opened in 1973, and the new wing, designed by architect Kishō Kurokawa, whose works were completed in 1999.

On September 5 In 2015, work was completed on a new modern entrance to the museum, a practical way to connect the two well-known adjacent museums of the Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum.
