Palazzo del Freddo Giovanni Fassi is an ice cream shop founded in 1880 by Giovanni Fassi and located in Rome.
It is one of the oldest ice cream parlors in Italy.

Recipe
The best known specialty of the ice cream parlor is the Sanpietrino semifreddo, named in this way because of its shape as the square stone of the same name used for centuries for the paving of the Capitoline streets, covered with a chocolate glaze with a heart of cream, zabaglione, chocolate, coffee, coconut and hazelnut.
Other specialties are the sandwich with chocolate, zabaglione, cream and berries and the "rice", vanilla flavored ice cream enriched with rice grains.
