Monumental complex, an ancient sixteenth-century stately home in the heart of the historic center - formerly Parrasio Palace, Musitano and Salituri - currently Caligiuri De Marco-Cassanese Palace, in via Giudecca in the Civita district of the city of Castrovillari (CS).
Successful synthesis of different eras, for the architectural schedule, it is one of the most beautiful historic buildings in the city.
On structures, perhaps medieval, at the end of the sixteenth century a smaller building was built than the present one to which belongs the elegant loggia (now closed!) Overlooking the courtyard.
It is refined with very refined stuccoes and fake brick decorations with a taste that is similar to architectures similar to those of Giulio ROMANO.
The building was then raised and enriched, especially inside, by eighteenth-century stuccoes that characterize some rooms.
The D.M. 16.10.1970 pursuant to law no. 1089, protects the property.
