Lapo Gargani born in Florence in 1972
Always passionate about art and painting, he has been working since a very young age in the field of painting decoration and restoration and at the same time, in 1995, he began his artistic career.
Over the years, he has received important certificates such as the XXIV Florence Prize in 2006, the Italy Prize in 2007, and being nominated as an "Artist to follow" in Exibart magazine in 2009.
He collaborates with writers and musicians: in 2013 he signs the sets in Palazzo Pitti for the concert of the Danish jazz player Jesper Bodilsen, for whom he also creates the cover of the album, entitled "Acou-space Plus", released in 2016. In 2015 Lapo Gargani carries out an important job that keeps him busy for almost a year dedicated to Vinicio Capossela, which is published in Laura Rizzo's volume “Canzoni a Manovella”.
Important is the meeting with the art and events curator Gisella Guarducci in 2016, who currently follows him on his artistic path.
Lapo Gargani's works are present in public and private collections in Italy and abroad.
