Professor Antonio Paolucci, born in 1938 - Alone and without tourists, surrounded by paintings by Michelangelo, Perugino, Ghirlandaio, Botticelli.

That indigo that seems to separate from the wall and sink to the ground, flood the space, make me drown. The cinnabar that bleeds and makes the eyes bleed, wounded by beauty. Here beauty is a blade, it causes deep cuts which, however, do not hurt.

Antonio Paolucci takes us by the arm and makes us dance.

He leads us as in a waltz to the Sistine Chapel.

With the nose raised to wonder. He tells us, tells us, gets excited, stops, afraid to make us understand. He explains Michelangelo to us, he tells us of passion and prayer, of genius and effort, of poetry and torment. And ecstasy.
