Ponti Art Gallery

The Nineteenth Century Art Gallery is a meeting place for lovers of artistic practices that have developed over the centuries, up to today, in Italy. Founded by Alessio Ponti in 1997 in the heart of the historic center of Rome, the exhibition space has become, over the years, a point of reference for collectors, scholars and simple lovers of Italian art.

The experience and expertise acquired not only with the purchase and sale of works, of different types and dates, often with Italian museum institutions, but also with the review of exhibitions set up since 2001 in the Gallery's exhibition spaces, constitute a guarantee mark for the authenticity and high quality of the works proposed.

The website of reality, constantly updated, constitutes a real telematic showcase of the activities carried out in the Gallery: every month, in fact, it proposes new works - paintings, sculptures, graphics, photographs - in the section dedicated to recent acquisitions. Browsing the website allows you to see the variety of interests of the Gallery, focused on the search for unpublished works from private collections, examples of Italian art that has kept its charm intact over the centuries.

The available works can be viewed, as well as in the renovated double exhibition space, an example of a balanced contamination between Italian nineteenth-century painting and the various artistic expressions of the twentieth century, also within two dedicated areas created specifically on the telematic platform: Acquisitions Recent, containing the works proposed in the last six months, while the Works section hosts the complete catalog, divided into the following three categories: 19th century paintings, 19th century sculptures, modern and contemporary art.
