The Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, commonly called the Frari Church, is one of the largest and oldest churches in Venice.

It is located in the San Polo district and is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary.

It was built in Gothic style between 1250 and 1330 and houses numerous works of art, including two paintings by Titian and his tomb. The Basilica is also the burial place of other illustrious figures, such as Antonio Canova, Francesco Foscari and Claudio Monteverdi.
