Rose Garden - Municipal Rose Garden - Rome Capital Rose Garden

The Rose Garden or Rome Capital Rose Garden, also known as the Municipal Roseto, is a public park located on the Aventine Hill in Rome, Italy.

It was opened in 1931 and is home to over 1,100 varieties of roses, for a total of over 10,000 roses.

The garden is spread over an area of approximately 10 hectares and is divided into two areas: the historic area and the modern area.

The historic area is the original one of the garden and is characterized by a geometric layout, with avenues that intersect to form rose beds.

The modern area was created on the occasion of the Jubilee of 2000 and is characterized by a freer layout, with large expanses of roses and paths that wind between the flowerbeds.

The Rose Garden is a very suggestive place, especially in spring and summer, when the roses are in bloom.

The park is an oasis of peace in the heart of the city and is an ideal place to walk, relax and admire the beauty of the roses.
