Santa Maria della Giustizia Church

Santa Maria della Giustizia is a beautiful Baroque church located in the city of Taranto, in the southern region of Puglia, Italy.

The church was built in the early 17th century, on the site of a pre-existing chapel dedicated to the Madonna della Grazia. The church has a richly decorated façade, with columns and statues, and a bell tower topped by a dome.

The interior of the church is richly decorated with stucco, marble, and frescoes by local artists.

The high altar is particularly impressive, with a painting of the Madonna della Giustizia, the church's patron saint.

One of the most interesting features of the church is the crypt, which houses the remains of some of the city's most prominent citizens, including members of the Aragonese dynasty who ruled over Taranto in the Middle Ages.

Santa Maria della Giustizia is an important example of Baroque architecture in Puglia and is considered one of the most beautiful churches in Taranto.

It is a popular destination for visitors and locals alike, who come to admire the church's art and architecture and to attend Mass and other religious events.
