The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, in northern India, according to tradition, the work was commissioned by the Indian emperor Shah Jahan, to fulfill one of the promises made to his wife when she was still alive.
The building was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 and included in 2007 among the new seven wonders of the world
