The Venice Porto Marghera Railway Station is a stop dedicated to Local Trains and is located in the Venice Mestre-Venice Santa Lucia railway section just before the beginning of the bridge across the lagoon.
The station is located at the progressive mileage 260 + 191 of the Milan-Venice railway planned as early as January 1844, when the bridge over the lagoon had not yet been completed, this airport was however moved to San Giuliano, only later with the end of the bridge works. the current station was opened and is being modernized since 2021, being very convenient for direct access to the VEGA which is the Venice Science and Technology Park, where the EXPO' Venice pavilion is adjacent (from 2020 it is the COVID Vacination Center) .
