Cinema Theater Busan

The Cinema Theater Busan, a historic building dating back to 1910 named after its founder, Monsignor Felice Busan, was formerly a small theater for private use, available to the "Don Bosco" Oratory next to which it was located and was managed alternatively by PP: Salesians of the College and by the parish priest of the Cathedral S. Maria Assunta.

It was used for some modest school-type recitals to allow the boys who attended it to try their hand at the recitation of easy and instructive texts for an absolutely young audience, which, in addition to the boys, were attended by the parents of the actors who performed .

In the period in which Mogliano was left without a cinema, it was decided to restore it, enlarge it and equip it with lighting systems, comfortable armchairs with an adequate sound system, in short, suitable equipment to act as a cinema in all respects for first screenings. vision and could at the same time also support demanding performances by companies with many actors and consequently favor the attendance of adults and demanding people.

Today the Busan Cinema is managed with competence and manages to carry out seasonal programs of real interest. There are projections of famous first-run films, plays of comedies by well-known and famous authors, with the performance of renowned theatrical companies of excellent quality and conferences, assemblies and various kinds of events are held there.

Today the room is large, welcoming and equipped with all the necessary equipment that makes it competitive with other cinemas in any other city. Unlike the open-air theater, which operates only in summer, it is a site of safe fun and healthy escape for the citizens of Mogliano.
