The Mosque of Cordoba - Virtual Tour 360 °

The Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1984, is the most visited monument in the Caliphal city thanks to its minaret, the Patio de los Naranjos and the prayer hall, with more than 1,300 marble columns.

The Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba is the key temple of the Islamic West, as well as the most visited monument in Cordoba. With more than thirteen centuries of history, this building, which was a place of worship for Visigoths, Muslims and Christians, is today an essential monument to understand the history of Cordoba.

The symbol par excellence of Cordoba is the mosque, a reflection of the power of the caliphate and the legacy of al-Andalus in the Iberian Peninsula. Furthermore, it is a monument that perfectly represents the fusion of Umayyad art with other Christian elements.

Located in the historic center of Cordoba, a few meters from the Roman Bridge over the Guadalquivir River, the Mosque-Cathedral has become one of the main tourist attractions in Cordoba.
