Patronas Towers

Patronas Towers a symbol of modern Malaysia, they unrivaled the skyline of the capital Kuala Lumpur. The height of the Petronas Towers is 451.9 meters, but what amazes, in addition to this amazing size, is their unique and unmistakable design, son of the genius of César Pelli, the great Argentine architect, who died in 2019, who designed some among the tallest and most admired skyscrapers in the world.

These two twin buildings are owned by the Petronas group, the Malaysian national hydrocarbon agency that gives the entire structure its name.

From 1996 to 2004 the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur were on the podium of the tallest buildings in the world, and still hold the record in the category dedicated to the twin towers.

Construction of the Petronas twin Towers began in 1992, to be completed in 1998 and officially inaugurated on August 31, 1999.
