MUSA - Underwater Museum of Art

If you are into unconventional things, then you will surely appreciate the MUSA, "Museo Subacuatico de Arte", located in Cancun, Mexico. The MUSA is a museum located at the bottom of the sea.

Founded in 2009 by Jaime González Cano, Díaz Abraham and the English sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor, MUSA is located between Isla Mujeres and Punta Nizuc.

The project permanently includes over 500 life-size sculptures and is considered one of the largest and most ambitious underwater artistic attractions in the world. The museum consists of two galleries, one of which is the Manchones Salon while the second is the Salon Nizuc.

The Salon Manchones is located eight meters deep and can be reached by both divers and snorkelers, while the second gallery is only four meters deep, and is only accessible to snorkelers.
