Circumetnea railway - Bronte

The Bronte station is a railway station located at km 54 + 681 of the Circumetnea railway serving the town of the same name.

The station was built at an altitude of 833 m a.s.l. on the eastern side of the town and entered service on 2 June 1895 with the opening of the railway line from Adernò (today Adrano). On 30 September of the same year it was connected to Randazzo with the opening of the Bronte-Lave di Castiglione section.

The Bronte locomotive depot, unused for many years, was converted into "Historic rolling stock exhibition space", and was inaugurated on 4 July 2016. The two ALn 56 railcars built by FIAT reside in the exhibition space of the historic rolling stock.
