Palace of culture of Apricena

Palazzo Paolicelli or Palazzo della Cultura: built in the 19th century by the Torelli family, later taken by the Paolicelli family whose name it bears and purchased by the Municipal Administration of Apricena in the 1980s, it is located in the historic center, opposite the Baronial Palace and near the Clock Tower (both buildings dating back to the presence of Emperor Frederick II in Apricena).

Since 1993 it has housed the municipal offices and for this reason it was renamed the Town Hall.

Since 2009 it has housed the "Nicola Pitta" Municipal Library, the Civic Museum and the Federiciana Mediateca and since 2016 by the current Municipal Administration it has been renamed "Palace of Culture" for cultural purposes pursued on a broad spectrum thanks also to the Municipal Historical Archive, at the “Sala Pirro Nord” and at the Youth Information Center.
