The Ferrero Foundation was born in 1983 as a “Ferrero Social Work”; since 1991 it has been recognized by the Ministry of the Interior as a Foundation and is part of the non-profit organizations of social utility (O.n.l.u.s.).
Chaired by Mrs. Maria Franca Ferrero, the Foundation realizes an idea of ??the Cavaliere del Lavoro Michele Ferrero, son of Pietro who in 1946, together with his brother Giovanni, founded the confectionery industry that has now become a multinational.
The idea of ??the Foundation and the meaning of its work can be found in the motto Work Create Donate, inscribed in the symbol of the institution itself.
The three verbs identify as many dimensions of the human person fully inserted in social life: the person who works with dignity, talent and responsibility to build new situations, not ends in themselves but aimed at the general well-being of the community.
