Santa Eufemia art Gallery

The Santa Eufemia Art Gallery was founded in 2008 by Alberto and Laura Lo Verso, after having transferred their business to the Giudecca island.

The exhibition spaces soon became the main point of reference for numerous artistic initiatives.

The vision by Fernanda Volkmann

Over the years, the gallery has hosted many events from solo shows of distinguished international artists to collective exhibitions, establishing partnerships with art promoters and foundations.

Wonderland is an art exhibition dedicated to the Fantastic and all of its representations. The world can be portrayed as a mixture of parallel realities which are captured by the artists and revealed in their artworks. Every aspect of existence is mutable since everyone has a different perception of the surroundings. In the book “It”, Stephen King wrote: “You could start at a path leading nowhere more fantastic than from your own front steps to the sidewalk, and from there you could go… well, anywhere at all.” The Fantastic is not a form of reality, but rather a way to explain existence and learn how to dive into it. Wonderland therefore can be defined as a multi-vision approach to the world where everything is significant in its own way of being.
