Municipal Theater City of Cave

Municipal Theater City of Cave, immersed in the Natural Park of Villa Clementi.

The Theater in Cave was inaugurated on November 18, 2012, the input that gave life to the Theater project lies precisely in the peculiarity of the site.
Although located in the center, its higher position with respect to the city, characterizes the area as a place where it is possible to have direct contact with nature, where the silence, or rather the noises of an uncontaminated area, bring refuge to thoughts and to the sensations.

The purpose of the project is to combine the virtues of theatrical art and those of nature: and so the quiet, the colors of the vegetation, the rustle of the wind, the scents were the main starting points for the design.

The decagonal shape of the plant is transformed in elevation into a hemispherical shell reminiscent of a shell, a shape that envelops and "protects" the spectators.
The materials, technologies, systems, roofing, finishing materials as well as chromaticity have been carried out in compliance with the applicable laws in force, chosen to be in harmony with the surrounding nature and to maintain a strong link between the built environment and the natural environment .
