Andrich House Museum

The only House Museum on the island of Torcello where you can experience the artistic effervescence of the 50's 60's 70's 80's and understand how the historical path and the lagoon landscape changes from Altino to Torcello to get to Venice.

The house of the Lovers of the Lagoon, where the artists Clementina De Luca and Lucio Andrich lived, is a magical place full of history, suspended between earth and sky overlooking the marshes of the Palude della Rosa.
A historic house where you can breathe the effervescence of the art of the 50s - 80s, through the variety of works of art on display and used materials, engravings, ceramics, glass, silks, woods, jewels, paintings, furniture, sculptures, tapestries.

Ernest Hemingway, Erza Pound, came to inspire us far from the confusion of the Piazza, in a naturalistic oasis between the lagoon and gardens planted with grapes, lavender, rosemary and artichokes, where thousands of herons, knights of Italy, ducks take refuge. here they roam undisturbed in search of food when it is low tide, and the water withdraws completely to discover the velma of the lagoon and strip the sandbanks that surround it.

The house of the two artists is an exclusive place, away from prying eyes and often the theater of television productions, (Stefania Sandrelli, Marisa Berenson, Amanda Sandrelli, Blas Roca Rey, Ornella Muti, Ambra Angiolini to name a few).
