Vigeland Park


Vigeland Park or Sculpture Park is an area within Oslo's Frognerparken dedicated to the permanent exhibition of sculptures, bas-reliefs and wrought iron works by the Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland.

The Vigeland Park covers an area of ​​about 320 hectares and develops on a longitudinal axis of 850 meters. The park plan is divided into five successive areas:

  • The gate
  • the bridge
  • fountain
  • the terrace of the monolith
  • the wheel of life
