FOUNTAIN OF THE SPHERE. Built in 1933 - 1935 by the architects, the fountain consists of a large circular basin in the center of which emerges a quadrangular base on which rests the large sphere, symbol of the universality of sports games.

The basin around the Sphere is decorated with mosaics in black and white marble tiles representing marine subjects, designed by Giulio Rosso.
