Colle Umberto is an Italian town in the province of Treviso in the Veneto region.
Called "Colle" until 1867 (due to its position perched on the hill) it assumed its current name in that year, following the visit of the King of Italy, Umberto I.
It has been inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by numerous archaeological finds dating back to the Paleoveneti civilization. In Roman times the communication artery that connected the large centers of Oderzo (Opitergium) and Ceneda (Cenetae) passed through its territory.
The most significant orographic element, the hill, gave its name to the Municipality in medieval times.
In addition to the representative places located on the main hill, the oratories and villas that dot the territory of the capital are numerous and of historical and architectural importance.
