Cartavetra Art Gallery

Cartavetra Contemporary Art Gallery

Founded in 2015 by Brunella Baldi

About Us: Cartavetra is not just an art gallery; it's a concept born from the visionary mind of Brunella Baldi in 2015. The gallery emerged from the desire to break away from the traditional model, challenging the notion that art spaces are exclusive and intimidating. It seeks to dismantle the peculiar, impenetrable barrier composed of a mix of suspicion, caution, and hesitation that still separates a significant portion of the audience from the art gallery experience.

Our Vision: Cartavetra embarked on a journey to present contemporary art in a way that speaks, intrigues, and welcomes visitors. The gallery explores diverse artistic languages, including painting, sculpture, engraving, and drawing.

Current Exhibition: The current exhibition seamlessly intertwines the latest artistic project by D'Agrosa, titled "Size 28," with that of Robalo, named "Viento en Contra." Hailing from different corners of the world—D'Agrosa from Campana, Argentina, and Robalo from Argentina—the two artists share a thematic connection to the concept of time. Their works delve into the rhythm, flow, memory, transformations, and narratives of time, as aptly captured by the exhibition's title, "Narrative Temporalities."
