Located in the central nave of the church of San Marco, "Arca" is a very modern structure in glass and steel.
This innovative parallelepiped has now become one of the city's symbols, as well as a "stylistic code" of the will and ability to combine ancient and contemporary.
The crystal vaults of the structure allow you to admire the medieval and majestic ones of San Marco; in turn the former church is restoring the wonderful hidden fifteenth-century frescoes unveiled by the young restorers of the Conservation and Restoration Center of Venaria Reale to the enjoyment of Vercellesi and tourists.
It is used to host events and exhibitions: among the most important are the exhibitions in collaboration with the Guggenheim foundation, "The Renaissance of Gaudenzio Ferrari" and the exhibition dedicated to the Magna Carta and the 800 years of the Abbey of Sant'Andrea.
