Grazia Deledda's Museum

The Deleddiano Museum is located in the birthplace of the Nuorese writer Grazia Deledda (1871-1936).

Thanks to the generosity of the Madesani-Deledda family, and in particular of Mrs. Fernanda, daughter-in-law of the writer, the ISRE comes into possession of a large number of manuscripts, photographs, various documents and personal objects that constitute the first collection of the open museum. on March 5, 1983.

The current exhibition structure, after the first installation based on the documentation donated by the Madesani family, aims to highlight, through the help of the materials purchased over the years by the Institute, the writer's tormented bond with Nuoro and at the same time the personal and literary events following his transfer to Rome.
