S'Abba Frisca Museum Park

The S'Abba Frisca Museum Park is located a few kilometers from Dorgali and Cala Gonone in the Littu valley along the road that leads to the Cala Cartoe beach.

It was born from the passion of Portolu Secci and his family who were able to enhance the spaces and structures of the old farm to create what is now considered a unique museum of its kind in Sardinia.

Fifteen museum rooms are located along an evocative botanical path. Inside the park, the dominant element is water: fed by the S'abba frisca spring, numerous fountains, waterfalls and jets enrich the itinerary that winds its way through megalithic walkways, hedges and centuries-old trees.

The protagonist is the Mediterranean scrub in which particular attention is paid to the plants that were of help to man up to a not too distant past: medicinal plants for the treatment of various diseases or dyes for the coloring of fabrics, barks and berries known and above all recognized by man for their properties.
