The Palace Aiello 1786 Museum is located in front of the Mother Church of Moliterno and has an intense eighteenth-century flavor with wooden beams and handmade terracotta and overlooks the infinity of the Lucanian landscape.
It was inaugurated on Saturday 2 July 2016 and houses the Landscape Museum.
An artistic journey that starts from the eighteenth-century prodromes of the Posillipo school to pass to the foreign painters of the Grand Tour, to the romantic landscape painters, to the divisionists and so on up the slope of the twentieth century until it crashes on the wall of the Second World War.
The works are collected on the four floors, with the aim of establishing a critical or sometimes just sentimental path.
The palace is the splendid stage for a unique collection of unexpected works, sometimes real masterpieces.
