ROYAL VINCIAN COMMISSION
The vastness of Leonardo's interests in the most varied fields of knowledge is testified by over 5000 sheets containing drawings and annotations, which represent only a portion of his remarkable production, unfortunately today largely dispersed. In order to bring together Leonardo's patrimony scattered all over the world in a single work, the Royal Vincian Commission was established in Rome in 1902 with the patronage of the Ministry of Public Education.
