Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe


The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe (German: Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas), also known as the Holocaust Memorial (or rather, Shoah Memorial) (German: Holocaust-Mahnmal), is a memorial located in the Mitte district of Berlin, designed by the architect Peter Eisenman, together with the engineer Buro Happold, to commemorate the victims of the Shoah.

The Memorial is made up of a field of 2,711 stelae and welcomes every year to the Information Center more than 500,000 visitors from every nation.
