The Orguglioso Castle of Sassai is a fortified building dating back to the 12th century located in the territory of the municipality of Silius, in the Sarrabus-Gerrei, in the province of southern Sardinia.
The name of the castle appears to be part of the series of "warrior" appellations, such as Gioiosa Guardia, which probably referred to the already famous sagas of chivalry and which could indicate strongholds located in strategic situations.
