Parish of San Massimiliano Maria Kolbe

Parish of San Massimiliano Maria Kolbe in Giugliano in the Campania region of Naples.

It takes its name in honor of Maximilian Maria Kolbe who was born in Zdunska-Wola (Lodz) in central Poland, on January 8, 1894, and was baptized on the same day with the name of Raimondo. The family then moved to Pabianice where Raimondo attended primary school, felt a mysterious invitation from the Blessed Virgin Mary to love Jesus generously and felt the first signs of a religious and priestly vocation.
