The papal minor basilica of San Gennaro ad Antignano is one of the monumental churches of Naples.

The basilica was begun on December 27, 1904 and finished in 1968, it was created a minor basilica by Pope Pius X on March 17, 1905.

The basilica was begun on 27 December 1904 and finished in 1968, it was created a minor basilica by Pope Pius X on 17 March 1905, declared "pontifical" in 1912 and erected as a parish in 1956 by the archbishop of Naples Cardinal Marcello Mimmi, currently aggregated to the parish of San Giovanni Battista dei Fiorentini of the Vomero area of the 5th Deanery of the archdiocese of Naples.
