It grew in importance, developing new exhibition sectors and soon making the area originally intended for it insufficient, which is why at the end of the Second World War the municipal administration decided to move it to the current site that hosted it. starting in 1948.

The fair, the third largest in Italy, is held at the Veronafiere complex, in the industrial area south of the city: the complex has a total area of ??310,000m², of which 157,000m² are covered, divided between 13 halls; hosts over 1,300,000 visitors per year (2016 data).

There is also a conference center, a multifunctional structure that manages events of various kinds and sizes and which in 2006 saw more than 90,000 visitors.
