Room 1 is an event space of a cultural association founded in 1970 by the sculptor Tito Amodei, is engaged in the experimental research of contemporary art, architecture, theater and music.
It is a historically known space in the Roman artistic panorama not only for its intense activity, but also for its evocative location in the complex of the Pontifical Sanctuary of the Scala Santa in San Giovanni.
Alongside the exhibition activity, it is proposed as an active place for high professional level events: meetings, seminars, workshops and press conferences.
In this perspective, cultural programming, in addition to the plastic-figurative sphere, has expanded its boundaries to other sectors, such as music, cinema, theater, video art, performance and architecture.
