A fascinating historic home in the heart of Salento, the Casino De Viti is an ancient noble hunting lodge, dating back to the 17th century, later enlarged in the 18th century with a spectacular adjoining oil mill. Continuously belonging to the original family, it has recently undergone a masterful restoration that has faithfully returned it to its complex majesty.

The history of the residence has developed over the centuries since the 17th century, according to the various phases that over time have connoted the society and economy of Salento. It was born as a hunting lodge, according to the habits of the nobles of the time who spent much of their free time there and used to meet there out of prying eyes for the usual raids of friends, a place chosen for secret meetings.
