White Palace

White Palace reopens to the public, with a renewed itinerary that also includes a precious selection of the masterpieces of Red Palace. We reopen to the public to offer spaces and times for reflection within our museum, moments in which to lose yourself in the beauty and find the best works of our city before your eyes.

It is a journey through the richness of our heritage, to rediscover in the art collections the history of Genoese collecting and the events of commission and origin of all the masterpieces that the power and taste of the city aristocracy were able to bring together in the rooms of their palaces between the 16th and 17th centuries.

It will be possible to admire the paintings of the Genoese school of the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, the masterpieces of Red Palace, set up in the 'exhibition' rooms overlooking the beautiful garden of the museum, and the important works of the Venetian school of the sixteenth century in our collections.

The visit ends with the famous Ecce Homo by Caravaggio and the works of the painters who were inspired by him at the beginning of the seventeenth century.
