Archaeological area of the Rivellino of the Invalids


The Rivellino of the Invalids in Turin is the only one of the citadel's surface fortifications brought to light after their partial destruction at the end of the nineteenth century.

These are substantial archaeological finds dating back to several decades of the seventeenth century that can be visited within an underground museum area of about 300 square meters. and including parts of the defensive walls, including those of the first expansion of Turin in 1619, the access ramps to the gorge front, the only powder magazine found so far and an extensive section of the tunnel connecting with the rest of the Citadel's defenses.

Reservations are required for groups of more than 10 people.
