The Royal Theater of Turin

The Royal Theater of Turin is the opera house of the city of Turin, as well as one of the largest and most important in Italy, and one of the most relevant Italian theaters in the European and international scene.

Built in 1740, it was destroyed by fire in 1936 and rebuilt in 1973; the facade remains of the original construction, currently part of the UNESCO site Savoy Residences registered on the World Heritage List since 1997.
