Soil Museum

A museum unique in Italy and with few counterparts in the rest of the world, inaugurated on 22 April 2016, on the day when the United Nations celebrates the Earth and which offers a unique itinerary of knowledge dedicated to the earth, and more precisely to what takes place in those three meters, fundamental for life on our planet, which are brought down from the surface.

Under our feet there is a tumultuous activity, chemical, physical and biological, on which the landscape we inhabit depends, the food we eat, our very survival on the planet.

1,500 square meters of covered exhibition, an extraordinary adventure to be experienced with the 5 senses, inside the black box of the ecosystem through the different layers of the earth to discover a fundamental resource such as air and water to be preserved and protected .

A story on the processes of soil formation, on their relationships with ecosystems, living communities and landscapes, on long-lasting interaction with human societies. A series of laboratory activities to observe, touch, play, be surprised.
