Panorama XXL

Panorama XXL is a panorama that offers to see giant and panoramic works by artist Yadegar Asisi.

Thanks to an original mixture of digital photographs, paintings and drawings, the artist revives and modernizes the panoramas, an essential artistic genre of the 19th century.

The visitor is surrounded by the work which he can observe through a central tower, giving him the real impression of entering the work.

The Panorama XXL is located on the quays, on the banks of the Seine, opposite Avenue Pasteur and the Sainte-Madeleine church.

The Panorama has been open since December 2014, based on the Leipzig Panometer.

While the panorama had to look for a new location by 2021, the decision was finally made by the Rouen Normandy Metropolis to stop operating in October 2021.
