Campogalliano The Bugatti of Campogalliano, called the Blue Factory, of seventy thousand square meters, remained active from 1985 to 1995, the brand was purchased by Volkswagen only in 1998, after the failure of the Milanese Ettore Bugatti who founded the industry back in 1909 in a former laundry in Molsheim Alsace.

To watch over what remains of the Bugatti myth - brought to Italy in the early sixties by Romano Artioli who had purchased the brand from the Italian Ettore Bugatti who emigrated to France in the early twentieth century - is the faithful Ezio who organizes guided tours to the inside the factory.
Today the Bugatti brand is owned by the Volkswagen group which has relaunched the production of the luxury car, however abandoning the Italian factory.
