Bottega Orafa

The refined goldsmith's production of Roberto Costa and Sandra Arca evolves from the precious traditional filigree and coral manufacturing with virtuous stylistic elaborations and precious technical interpretations of original and distinctive richness of decorative and sculptural details. Born and raised in Alghero, a town set in the renowned coral coast on the north-west coast of Sardinia, they both undertake training and professional courses aimed at creative goldsmithing. Roberto lives and breathes the artisan atmosphere in the laboratory of his father Antonio, the goldsmith of the significant generation who in the 1950s participated in Alghero in the revival of the local goldsmith's. He carries out goldsmith's studies at the Art Institute where he increases the technical skills learned in the family shop acquiring procedures in jewelry design that allow him to express and mature a distinctive and experimental style.

Sandra also attended the Institute of Art in the specialization in coral processing, continuing her university studies with a degree in Art History. In 2002, with the opening of their laboratory in the evocative setting of the historic center of Alghero, they bring their skills together in a fortunate working union that increases inspiration and from which a refined and original production of unique jewelery of great impact comes to life scenic.

This shop is part of the Corallium Rubrum chain in Alghero.
