Suggestive, one of the most photogenic Venetian bacari. It is located in a corner of the Rio della Maddalena, near the S. Antonio bridge, along one of the busiest arteries in the city. Already from the outside it stands out with wooden barrels and slates, inside we find a first area with a small bar counter, then a series of very characteristic rooms, with old wooden tables, shelves full of bottles, advertising plates of vintage, nautical-themed prints and a lacquered wood paneling that makes a very old tavern.
It mainly offers sandwiches and croutons, among the particularities we find those with leek and gorgonzola, radicchio and shrimp, beef and spicy pepper, omelette with herbs and some cooking dishes. Everything can be enjoyed safely in the interior rooms overlooking the Rio.
