As you may have guessed, the Osteria is a restaurant in the Po Delta of the Veneto. Our restaurant is located in Santa Giulia di Porto Tolle, in the extreme delta of the province of Rovigo, therefore our cuisine is strongly influenced by the tradition based on fish, caught in the morning and cooked in the evening, and based on meat prepared with local recipes. Once, Osteria Arcadia was part of the historic Delta Alimentari shop owned by the family, a varied emporium with many useful products for the local fishing community: from tobaccos to food products, up to gifts. Today the restaurant is an intimate and elegant environment, completely renovated, available and also ideal for private receptions and ceremonies.
Furnished in a simple way, with taste and even a little originality, you will recognize it for its characteristic dark green walls and for the design touches of the 1900s, such as some advertisements for food from the 1950s, from the well-known Sasso Oil to mayonnaise. Slowly this became a job that today employs about 500 people, with a production of around 40,000 quintals of molluscs per season!
