We are at the bottom of the Fondamenta degli Ormesini in a somewhat secluded area of ​​Venice and the name of the place itself predisposes the soul to downshift and proceed at a slower pace. It has a more trattoria vocation, in fact at noon it is frequented by workers and indigenous people on their lunch break, but this does not mean that from the street facing counter you can order from a choice of classic fish-based cicchetti such as squid, mussels, sardines in saor paired with a healthy shade of wine.
In the summer, outdoor tables are set up along the canal, otherwise the rustic furnishings and family atmosphere are the setting for a cross-section of authentic Venetian style.
