Villa Pampado, Relais Ca Sabbioni Hotel

Relais Ca 'Sabbioni Hotel, also known as Villa Pampado, over the centuries was the splendid home of Gregorio Barbarigo and Mons. Francesco, Bishop of Padua.

It also served as a stop and refreshment point for travelers, with the name of “Osteria dei Sabbioni”.

Today, by virtue of a skilful renovation project, respecting the original elements and the distribution scheme of the existing structure, the ancient Villa has once again acquired its original destination, becoming a luxurious accommodation facility.

As evidence of this, the presence of the central halls on the ground floor and first floor embellished even more by splendid Venetian terrazzo floors and original wooden beams.

The interior design of Relais Ca 'Sabbioni arises from the contrast between the classic stylistic key of a 17th century Venetian Villa and an interior design characterized by contemporary materials and shapes.

The transformation of the Villa into a Relais was an opportunity to design new furnishings, which were proto-typed and subsequently engineered, becoming industrial design products.

The continuum between ancient and modern is symbolized by the design of the Hall, where a short steel ribbon connects the reception to the lobby: a single element that transforms from a worktop into a floor and then becomes a seat.
